The purpose behind the development of ‘The Dreamers Dictionary iPhone App’ is to provide the ability for as many people as possible to learn about dreams and their importance in their individual evolution.
Dreams are the most commonly recognized means via which the inner mind communicates with the outer mind. For thousands of years dreams have been captivating mankind and have become an integral part of every culture on this planet. For the past 100 years modern psychotherapy has explored the meaning of dreams and their therapeutic value. Although no single theory or model on how to interpret dreams exists, writing down and exploring dreams allows one to heed messages from his/her inner/subconscious mind.
Each dream relates a message about the dreamer’s current state of awareness. The dream message has immediacy, applying to the thoughts and attitudes of the previous 24 to 48 hours. Everything in the dream, each person, place or thing represents some aspect, quality or way of thinking of the dreamer. Messages in dreams are conveyed through the picture language of dreams referred to as the Universal Language of the Mind. This language has been studied and taught for the past 40 years at the School of Metaphysics. Interpretation of dreams in the Universal Language of Mind aids the dreamer to discover the truth that will open his/her eyes to the reality of his/her own thinking, to the consciousness of the Self and to the ideals of the soul.
’The Dreamer’s Dictionary iPhone App’ is to contain the essence of the School of Metaphysics’ dream research and to provide users with easy means of looking up dream symbols’ interpretation in the Universal Language of Mind, submitting dreams for interpretation and sharing dreams via Twitter.
